Arabel Lebrusán’s often treads the fine line between art and jewellery. Most of her works are conceived as an artistic response to specific social injustices, ecological concerns and feminist viewpoints. Whether worn on the body or hung on the wall, they narrate powerful tales using a poetic language. 

This particular jewel - unique and never to be recreated - was brought to life by now-retired Spanish filigree artisan Lorenzo in his family-run workshop. It tells a story of proud cultural heritage; of skill being passed down from one generation to the next.
