This gorgeous purse was inspired by the owner's love of Florida wildlife! It is a one of a kind, 100% handcrafted collage purse created using an original magazine cover from 1981 and article photos from a 1970's National Geographic magazine. The front cover of the purse depicts flora and fauna on the Florida coast and the back cover is a fun and fanciful collage of manatees- both from the actual magazines. This purse is constructed with laminated graphics attached to wood veneer and then hand riveted with coordinating vintage style gray metal rivets. The side and bottom panels are made with a gorgeous white leather insert, the 18" handles feature a sturdy natural colored leather and it measures approximately 8 1/2" wide by 11 1/2" high. This purse is quite the natural beauty!
